I ended 2009 playing a role I very much wanted to play…. that of the hilariously eccentric, rhyme-mangling, Fran Drescher-inspired Spirit of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol at Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

It was a non-singing role in a musical, but the part was so juicy it didn’t bother me a bit.

I began the show as a villager of the Dickensian era selling mittens & sang a couple of tiny solos in the big opening number.  Then it was off to don my blonde wig, electric blue eyeshadow, and ridiculously sexy swagger….

These are my scenes as I take Scrooge (the talented Daniel Bonnett) through three not-so-Great Moments from his Past.
