What: Premiere of new musical Glass Ceilings
When: March 5-28, 2020
Where: Rockwell Table & Stage, 1714 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles CA
For the first time ever, former reporter Eileen gets to play a reporter on stage! She’s playing Anne Royall, the first female reporter ever to interview a sitting president in Glass Ceilings. The soaring & rocking new musical is about groundbreaking women you’ve probably never heard of. (In real life, Eileen interviewed several aspiring presidential candidates, including Bill Clinton and John McCain!)
This marks the first staged performances for Glass Ceilings, a new musical developed in California from the team of Watkins & Brandt, with music/lyrics by Laura Watkins and book by Nicholas David Brandt, the same team who created the Fringe Festival hit Comic-Con the Musical.
With a powerhouse cast of 13 glorious voices, this fresh new musical takes you to Hergatory where God is a pink-haired Goddess & 9 real women from throughout history meet for the very first time. But they don’t know why. The show covers a breathtaking range of musical styles and tells stories that will make you laugh, cry, think and feel. Catch it now at the Rockwell in an intimate setting where the actors are practically an arm’s length away, and be one of the first to experience this fantastic story.
This is a limited run! Show opens on March 5th and runs every Friday & Saturday through March. Showtime is 8pm. Prices range from $35-$55. For tickets, visit ROCKWELL’s website.
