What: One Night Only Concert!
When: Monday, March 13th 2017 at 8 pm
Where: Al Hirschfeld Theatre, 302 West 45th Street, NYC
Eileen is thrilled to lend her voice to Broadway’s annual celebration of love & equality set to a toe-tapping rhythm, all to benefit Broadway Cares and the LGBT Community Center in New York City.
Broadway Backwards features an array of Broadway & TV stars performing quintessential Broadway tunes with a twist: men sing songs originally intended for women and vice versa. Now in its 12th year, this year’s show is already sold out and expected to break last year’s record-setting $480,287!
Eileen is immensely enjoying working with director Robert Bartley and music director Laura Bergquist under the supervision of Mary-Mitchell Campbell, along with a whole team of Broadway choreographers, musicians, costumers, technical pros and stage directors. Star performers include Josh Groban, Kathleen Turner, Len Cariou, Cynthia Erivo, and Andrew Rannells, to name just a few. Expect a lot of humor, exuberant joy, amazing dance numbers and a few emotional moments.
On the slight chance of last-minute cancellations the day of the concert, tickets will be sold to the cancellation line on a first-come, first-served basis from 7pm. The cancellation line will be in front of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, to the west of the lobby doors.
What began as a small, grassroots concert performed at The LGBT Center in 2006 quickly grew into a highly-anticipated event presented in Broadway’s best theatres. In its 11 editions, Broadway Backwards has raised more than $2.8 million for Broadway Cares and The Center. Eileen is proud to be part of Broadway Backwards #12!
