I was psyched to get this commercial because I’m a real-life fan of Navarro. Everyone is so friendly every time I go there it actually makes me enjoy shopping.
Navarro is a drug store that’s evolved into a South Florida chain, owned and operated by a Cuban American family (the Navarros) for several decades.
In this spot, I play a store manager. And even though you will see me on screen for only a few seconds, it was on set for 12 hours that day. Good thing they kept the Cuban coffee coming…
Oh! And since the producers thought my red hair made me look too glamorous, they had the makeup people pull it back to “deglamorize” me.
